I sure wish they would. We just didnt have time to get anything together after the fairs and KC.
There sure wasn't enough time to do anything and that early November date came up way too fast!!
If the powers that be are waching or lstening, please give us another tag in day later this month!!?? |

They have these dates set so animals cannot be brought home from NAILE and shown in OYE. |

If I remember correctly at least the last two years the Shawnee date was set after NAIILE. aside from that who cares? Goats have a time to peak and if they're gonna win NAILE they probably are not going to hold over to the second week of March next year.
But all in all it would be nice to have another tag day for goats & lambs. |

Why would you need another check in day for sheep and goats, they have three days and they are set months in advance, all it takes is a little planning. I am not trying to sound harsh, but come on people plan ahead. Instead of complaining about another day, why not complain about having to haul the sheep and goats to a check in site and all other species nominate at home. That is what I am upset about, not about the date, but that we have to physically take the animals to a nomination site, but the cattle and swine can nominate from home. |

asking for an additional day to nominate iis not a complaint it is a request. You're not wantng too physucally take them to a location is a complaint. that's the dfference.
years ago is was a pull the hair & tag the lamb or goat deal. Probably what happened is the tags were going in animals that the hair didn't match up to. But that is a guess. You'd have to call and ask why we drive and no one else does. Then let us knoow what they say. |
